Ginger had her surgery and is healing well. She had her checkback with the vet and is doing really well. She is not as fond of the new food – special prescription diet for urinary track health – but she tollerates it. She needs a bath so now that her incision is sufficiently healed I’ll give her one. This also means she can swim in the river the next time we go to the dog park at Marymoore in Redmond. She loves the park and likes to swim.
Life is good! I know some would say “It’s just a dog” but when you take on a pet you are responsible to give it the best life possible. Fortunately it all turned out and we can continue to give her of our best.
Nothing qualifys for “just” when there is love connected to it. Man or beast should never be minimized by just. Even though I love dogs when they belong to other people, I am so glad that Ginger is doing well. Tell her that Simba and Princess say hello.
