RV for sale

With all of Glen’s health issues we have turned back into apartment dwellers. With this change the RV is for sale. At this time I’m putting this page up quickly but will add details and photos as time permits.

The basics – 2003 Itasca Sunrise, 30′ with one slide. It runs on a Ford Workhorse chassis. As is typical of such vehicles it has 6 wheels. Two in front and dual wheels on each side in the rear.
There are issues:

Some body damage cost as yet undetermined
    Planning replacement of cracked windshield
Screening on the screen door needs to be replaced. We bought the kit but have not had a chance to do the chore. It is easy. Just no time.
    Air conditioner needs replacing $1000

The following are standard:

    Black water tank
    Grey water tank
    Fresh water tank
    LP Tank (internal)
    Dual hot water heater (LP/Electric)
True Queen Bed (not a short queen)
Dinette converts to a “full” bed – more like a very wide twin
Jackknife sofa converts to a full bed
    Double sink in galley
    Spice cabinet
    Hydraulic leveling jacks
Awning on curb side – brand new hardware
    Awning over slideout
    Three burner stove (LP)
    Oven with pilot light (LP)
    Two door refrigerator/freezer
Split bathroom (Toilet/Sink on one side with shower across the aisle)
    Lots of storage
    Wired for cable and phone

Modifications we’ve made:

    Much better toilet (taller, sturdier)
Bathroom faucet replaced with one that is much nicer and does not leak!
Kitchen faucet replaced with one that includes a pull out sprayer and does not leak!
    Significant upgrades to suspension
    Storage tube for sewer hose
Roadmaster towing rig to tow a car
    Additional repairs/modifications with all records
We converted the lights to LEDs except for the makeup lights in the bathroom. This greatly increases the energy efficiency of the RV.

There are things we would willingly include:

External LP tank with hoses (valves are installed)
    Patio rug
    Portable fire ring
Coleman Roadtrip BBQ grill with tools (runs on the external LP tank or can be hooked into the internal LP tank)
    ALL hoses and fittings
    Leveler pads
Assortment of other items that every RVer needs

I mentioned that the RV is wired for cable and phone. There is a phone jack next to the passenger seat. Some RV Parks have hookups for both phone and cable. There are connectors in the electrical access bin. My understanding is that cable comes in two grades the lower/older type will not carry HD signals. This later is the type of cable that runs through the RV. Most RV Parks only supply standard hookups so it doesn’t matter but if you end up choosing to get DISH or Direct TV (very easy to do in an RV) you can’t use the built in cable but rather must run the cable in through a window to the front of the RV and live with the non-HD in the bedroom.

There is a ‘walk through’ on one of the pages on this site, a description of the basement areas plus information concerning what our needs are regarding the sale are also on additional pages.
